Ms. Collette Smith is a Registered Associate Clinical Psychologist and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional dedicated to providing evidence-based psychological care. She specializes in forensic psychology and trauma-informed practice, providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups, with particular expertise in supporting high risk and vulnerable populations. Recognized as a 2025 American Psychological Association (APA) Global Psychology Alliance Emerging Leader, Ms. Smith combines clinical expertise with a strong commitment to national and community service. She is a member of the Bureau of Standards Jamaica National Technical Committee for Correctional Services, a trained Problem Management Plus (PM+) Facilitator, and a Commissioned Officer in the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF), where she was awarded the Medal of Honour for General Service. She also serves as a Justice of the Peace for the Parish of Kingston and has been a mentor with The University of the West Indies Mentorship Programme for over a decade.
